You don’t need to depend or wait for the GP’s approval to visit a Naturopath. However, the Naturopath needs to know about your current medications or treatments. It is always a good idea to take your medical records along. Ideally, you need to keep the GP informed of any treatment that you opt to take up, so they can update information in their records.
